NIMS  IS-700 Training

December 17, 2005

NCAC members: We have been given an opportunity to provide training required by the Department of Homeland Security. David has arranged for an instructor from George Washington University. The class will be December 17 (yes, our meeting date) from 9 -1 in Alexandria.  NCAC will have lunch and meet after class.

We are currently limited to the large classroom where we had our fall NCAC Institute. There is a possibility we could move to the auditorium if there is enough demand. Jim will invite the REACT reps who were planning to attend our meeting to participate in the training before the meeting.

We have less than a month until the day of class, but with the current demand for this class--even with the holidays on the horizon--I'm sure it will fill up.

Please, pass the word to local groups and encourage everyone to pre-register with an email address. Walk-ins may be turned away.
